Salary
From £25,000 to £27,000 FTE, depending on experience
Hours
Full-time: 35 hours per week

About the role
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities Management team, responding efficiently to maintenance requests and property issues across charity locations.
- Coordinate contractors, obtain and compare quotations, and arrange maintenance works in line with budgets and value-for-money principles.
- Ensure contractors are appropriately vetted, with required insurance, certifications, and RAMS in place before works commence.
- Maintain and update the approved supplier database and monitor contractor performance and response times.
- Support budget monitoring by tracking expenditure and escalating any financial concerns to management.
- Manage the charity's vehicle fleet administration, including servicing, MOTs, maintenance scheduling, mileage records, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in maintaining property compliance, health and safety testing schedules, legal certifications, and audit requirements across all sites.
- Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the HS/FM Manager, liaising with staff, contractors, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
We welcome applications from individuals who:
- GCSE, or Equivalent in Maths and English
- Hold a full UK driving licence and able to travel to other locations
- Are experienced in IT systems, particularly use of recording platforms, work and excel
- Have strong communication skills and experience within facilities
